12 Days of Christmas Giveaway is here. Go check out what has been added to my gift basket. Hint: only "time" will tell how it all ends.

Cut, sew, blog, tweet. Repeat. Keep this up and it is starting to seem like real work. Oh the lengths we will go to in order to avoid getting a "real job," huh?

Before I show you what I did today I wanted to show you these pretty Baby Clothes Memory Rag Quilts that my friend Barbara is making.

She has a listing for these adorable, custom made baby clothes quilts on her etsy store right now and she has a holiday sale on her blog.  She does beautiful work and what a sweet way to keep all those memories of your favorite little outfits out there where you can enjoy them instead of packing them away in a box. Love this idea.

So, I did get a little Thanksgiving sewing done today too. I had these table toppers already done and I finished up some matching towel sets and a coaster set.

I just love this Alexander Henry print. The colors are so vibrant.

It's nice to have a pretty new holiday towel to hang in the kitchen. My everyday kitchen towels look they have been used for mopping the garage floor, which I wouldn't be surprised if they have.

Some pretty coasters for our coffee mugs when we are enjoying that pumpkin pie!

Another centerpiece mat in another gorgeous harvest print.

If you have some time to pretty up your kitchen before the big day I have a tutorial for the kitchen towels and coasters here. If you want to make a rag quilt centerpiece mat or runner shoot me a message. I haven't done a tutorial on those yet but they are pretty easy and I can send you some simple instructions.

enjoy!

  2. I have loved quilts all my life, ever since I snuggled under my granny's homemade ones. I've made many myself. And know what love goes into those stitches. Beautiful!

  3. Ooh. That is a pretty, Autumn fabric pattern. I really need to make some coasters eventually. Thanks for sharing the quilts, too. Beautiful!
